#1.Algorithms.
Algorithms are very important. An algorithm is a self-contained step-by-step set of operations to be performed. Algorithms exist that perform calculation, data processing, and automated reasoning.
For example, in the egg problem, you only need at most 18 tries if you have the best algorithm, while at most 100 tries if you have the worst algorithm.
In addition, you need good algorithms to make your AI.
#2. Twine Projects
Twine is a interesting story game maker. I think Twine is just the best story game maker program for beginners. Because Twine emphasises the visual structure of hypertext and does not require knowledge of any programming languages as other popular game development tools do.
Twine projects can be very interenting. They can be in any length. I can make a long story game if I just have enough time.
#3. Game AI
AI is very important in games. Simple games, like Rock, Paper, Scissors game and Tic Tac Toe, need AI as well. AI, I think, is make up from algorithms. For games that are more complex, AI plays a more important role. In some FPS games, NPCs can find the shortest way to get your character and attack you. It is AI that makes things like that possible.
